Title: Maternal Mental Health Symposium: Helping Michiana Parents Be Well

 Time: 8:30am-4:30pm Eastern

 Location: St Joseph County Public Library, Community Learning Center

Objective: Participants will gain an understanding of psychosocial risk factors affecting pregnant and postpartum women and learn skills that will be applicable for a cross section of community providers.

8:30-9:00 am Registration and Networking

9:00 am  Welcome and Keynote, "Substance Use Disorder in the Perinatal Period" Dr. Camila Arnaudo

10:00 am  Bridging "Health Equity in the Perinatal Period" Michelle Miller, PhD and Dr. Jasmine Johnson

11:00 am Applying principles of Trauma Informed Care in community settings. Tracina Chism- Fikes

Noon  Box lunch provided and Networking

1pm "Overview of Perinatal Mood Disorders", Birdie Meyer, RN

2:45 pm "Intimate Partner Violence: Advocacy and Lived Experience", Jessica Richmond Castello and Kelli Brien

3:30 pm  Best practices in community collaboration. 

4:30 pm Closing

Registration Fee: $50  (includes 4 hours of Continuing Education Credit for LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, LSW, and Psychologists licensed in Indiana). Box lunch included.
