Parents of Addicted Loved ones is an education and support group reaching out to families of those who have loved ones struggling with substance use disorder. Often, the family doesn't know where to reach out for help. They suffer in silence and shame while watching their loved one spiral out of control due to their SUD. PAL brings HOPE, education and support to these struggling families. Join us to learn more about how families can begin their own journey of recovery, begin to find HOPE and learn about things like.. "Healthy Helping vs Enabling" and "Delayed Emotional Growth". The education and support provided through PAL can help change the way we relate to our loved ones and our hope is that when we change.... our loved ones may reach out for help and begin their own journey of recovery.

About the Speakers: 

Chris and Jim Geyer operate a small trucking company in Elkhart, IN.  They have a loved one who has struggled with addiction/SUD for over 12 years. After struggling to find education and support for themselves and their loved one, they stumbled upon PAL via the web. Chris and Jim are trained facilitators through PAL. The first PAL meeting opened in December of 2017 in Elkhart, IN and has been going strong since!  PAL offers a free meeting every Tuesday evening 6:30-8:00 pm @ the home of SPA Women's Ministry Homes, Elkhart, IN.
